/applicant/inbox aggregates two types of messages: direct messages from recruiters (when you've applied to one of their jobs, OR when they've reached out from the talent network), and platform notifications (subscription confirmations, payment receipts, application status updates).
Unread messages show a count badge on the inbox tile on your dashboard. Mark messages as read by opening them.
Recruiter messages are subject to the same anti-spam policies as the rest of the platform — if you receive unwanted contact, click the report button on the message.
