Priority Review places your application on a separate priority shortlist that the hiring team sees, and they can see it arrived through the sponsored channel. You buy it after you apply, when that application qualifies (above the 30th percentile of applicants for the role).
One purchase covers the application you buy it on and every application you send in the 30 days after it is paid. It is a one-time charge: it does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel. When the 30 days are up, you can buy it again on your next application.
It does NOT change your merit score, completeness rating, or any algorithmic ranking. It is a visibility feature — a way to make sure the hiring team sees your application without having to scroll through dozens of others.
If you have a monthly Priority Review subscription from the earlier billing option, it keeps covering each new application for as long as it is active.
