When a candidate applies, each consent is shown with its exact plain-language wording and granted or left off on its own.
Required to apply:
Core processing — storing the resume and cover letter, building a structured profile for hiring review, and showing the application to the employer it was sent to.
AI resume understanding — sending the resume text to Anthropic's Claude to extract structured, hiring-relevant fields such as work history, education and skills.
Optional, and off until the candidate switches them on:
Recruiter discoverability — appearing in search results and shortlists shown to authorised recruiters in the network.
Accommodation information — sharing accessibility or accommodation needs with the hiring team, only to provide accommodations.
Role recommendations — occasional e-mails about matching roles.
Professional profile enrichment — extracting more from what the candidate already wrote, such as portfolio links, publications and certifications.
…and a small number of other options — the College Plus program and a few named data-sharing choices — each described in plain words where it is offered.
The wording each candidate saw is stored with their answer, every change is appended to the consent ledger, and any optional consent can be withdrawn from /apply/me at any time. When you export applicants, every row is re-checked against the candidate's consent at that moment.
Posting and reviewing are free. Every stage, e-mail and export described here is in the console from the first sign-in.
