Did the stage actually change? A status e-mail goes out when an application enters Reviewing, Interviewing, Offer, Hired or Rejected — once per stage. Moving a card back into a stage it already visited does not send again, and Withdrawn and Disqualified never send.
Was it a campaign? Campaigns leave out anyone who unsubscribed or whose address bounced. Status e-mails are different: someone who opted out of job alerts is still told what happened to their application.
Spam folder. Ask the candidate to check it and to add the sender to their contacts.
Still missing? Every send is on the e-mail ledger. Write to support@offerrole.com with the candidate's e-mail address and the job, and the platform team can tell you what was sent and whether it was delivered.
