Where. Talent network → Groups & folders (/admin/candidates/folders). Everything there is shared with everyone in your organization who uses the Talent network.
Groups are saved searches. In People, run a search, then Save as group. The group reopens exactly as you saved it — the words, the filters, a pasted job description's reading — with whoever matches on the day. A group is also an audience: it shows in Audiences with the filters Audiences understands (skills, products, places, way of working, work authorization, pay), and an audience saved in Audiences shows as a group here and opens in People with those filters. If you change a group's search in People, Update the group to this search saves it; changing its filters in Audiences replaces its People search with those filters.
Folders hold people you pick. Folder on any result in People, or Add to folder on a profile, puts that person in a folder — or makes a new folder with them in it. Open a folder to run People inside it: the search box, filters, match scores and sorting all work within the folder. Remove takes someone out. A folder can also hold groups: file a group in a folder from Groups & folders, or when you save it.
Who sees whom. A folder never widens who you can see. Each person in a folder is shown to a teammate only if that teammate could find them in the Talent network themselves — someone who chose to be discoverable, or who applied to the teammate's own jobs. Anyone else is counted ("2 of them aren't shown to you"), never named. When someone stops being discoverable or deletes their account, they drop out of view for anyone who could only see them because they were discoverable. E-mails stay masked until you unmask someone, as everywhere in the Talent network.
Who can change what. Anyone in your organization with Talent network access can open folders and groups, make new ones, add and remove people, and file groups in folders. Renaming, changing a group's search, and deleting are for whoever made it and your organization's owner and admins. Deleting a folder doesn't touch the people in it or its groups.
Not for ads. Folders are lists of people, so they are never used to target ads or campaigns — an ad reaches an audience, never a list of named people.
Limits. Up to 5,000 people in a folder and 500 folders in an organization; up to 200 people added at once.
