Billing, refunds & cancellations
Sales are final, mistakes are fixed, and a subscription stops with one click. Search for your question, or jump to what you need below.
What you can do
Charged twice, after cancelling, or Priority Review didn’t turn on? Mistakes our records prove are refunded automatically.
One click in your account — or a one-click link by e-mail if you can’t sign in.
Your plan, next charge date, card, charge history and the Cancel button.
Every order and its receipt, ready to print or save as a PDF.
The full rules: what’s final, what we fix, how cancelling works.
Reset with the resume you applied with, or answer a few questions.
All sales are final — and we always fix our own billing mistakes.
What is the refund policy? All sales are final — and we always fix billing mistakes, usually automatically.
All sales are final. Priority Review does its work from the moment it starts, so it isn't refunded because you changed your mind, didn't get an interview, the employer closed the role afterwards, or you didn't use your 30 days or your subscription month.
We always fix our own mistakes: a duplicate charge, a subscription charge after you cancelled, Priority Review that never turned on, and a charge for more than the checkout showed you. Send a change request (/help/change-request) — when our records prove the mistake, the refund is issued straight away.
A person reads every other request, and may make an exception, though it isn't promised. Nothing is declined by a machine. The full policy is at /legal/refund-policy, and nothing in it limits your rights under the law where you live.
Bought before October 21, 2026? Your purchase keeps the refund window its checkout and receipt showed: inside it, send a change request — "I'd like a refund for another reason" — and it is refunded automatically.
When do you refund a charge? When we made a mistake: a duplicate, a charge after cancelling, Priority Review that never turned on, or the wrong amount.
We refund a charge when it was our mistake:
A duplicate charge — the same amount charged twice for the same thing. We refund the extra one. Automatic when our records show a second charge, within 72 hours, for something the first one already paid for.
A charge after you cancelled — a subscription charge created after your cancellation. Refunded in full, automatically.
Priority Review never turned on — you paid, but your application isn't on the priority shortlist. Refunded in full, automatically.
The wrong amount — charged more than the checkout showed. A person checks it and refunds the difference.
A charge you didn't make — a person looks into it and refunds a charge that wasn't authorised.
Start any of these at /help/change-request.
How long does a refund take?Automatic refunds are issued in seconds; your bank usually shows them in 5–10 business days.
A refund the rules approve is issued straight away; one a person approves is issued when they decide, within two business days. We e-mail you when it's issued.
Card refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually show on your statement in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Refunds to bank payments (ACH, wire, e-check) go back by bank transfer.
Not there after 10 business days? Reply on your change request's page and a person will check.
Are subscription charges refundable? No — payments already made aren’t refunded or prorated. Billing mistakes always are.
Priority Review subscription charges are not refunded or prorated, as the Refund & Cancellation Policy says (/legal/refund-policy). When you cancel, every future charge stops and Priority Review stays on until the end of the month you already paid for — so you keep what you paid for.
We always fix billing mistakes. A charge made after you cancelled, a duplicate charge, and a subscription that never turned on are refunded — automatically, when our records show them — through a change request (/help/change-request). A charge for a different amount than you agreed to is checked by a person and the difference refunded.
How to ask us to fix a charge, and how requests are decided.
How do I request a change or a refund?Send a change request with your receipt number and e-mail. It takes about two minutes.
Go to /help/change-request — or press Request a change on your receipt or confirmation e-mail, which fills in your receipt for you.
1. Choose what you need: charged twice, charged after cancelling, Priority Review didn't turn on, a different amount, a charge you don't recognise, cancel a subscription, account access, fix a receipt, a refund for another reason, or something else. 2. Enter your receipt number (INV-…, QBST- or TRM-…) and the e-mail you used at checkout. Press Find my purchase to check we've got the right one. 3. Answer the few questions that kind of request needs. 4. Add a message and, if it helps, up to three files — a receipt or a statement (PDF or image, 5 MB each). Cover all but the last four digits of any card or account number.
You get a reference (CR-…) straight away, an e-mail, and a page to follow it.
How are change requests decided?Fixed rules settle what our records prove, in seconds; a person answers the rest within two business days.
Every request is checked against our records the moment you send it, by fixed rules — the same for everyone, with no AI involved.
Approved automatically, with the refund issued straight away: a duplicate charge, a subscription charge made after you cancelled, and a Priority Review order that never turned on. Cancelling a subscription is done straight away too.
Sent to a person even then when the receipt and e-mail don't match, a dispute is open with your bank, the refund is over our automatic limit, you've had a refund in the last 180 days, or the payment is more than 120 days old. Everything else is read by a person too.
A person replies within two business days (Monday to Friday). Nothing is declined automatically — a "no" always comes from a person, with the reason, and you can reply to it.
Where do I see my change request? On its own page — the link is in your confirmation e-mail. You can reply there.
When you send a change request you get a reference number (CR-…) and an e-mail with a link to its page. The page shows where it stands, what we've told you, and everything that has happened so far.
You can reply on that page — add a message or up to three files — and a person reads every reply. Replying to a request that was resolved or declined reopens it.
Keep the link private: it opens your request without a password. Lost the e-mail? Send a new change request and mention your reference.
I was charged twiceSend a change request — a duplicate charge is refunded automatically when our records show it.
Send a change request (/help/change-request) and choose "I was charged twice for the same thing", with one of the receipt numbers and your e-mail.
If our records show a second charge of the same amount, within 72 hours, for something the first one already paid for, we refund the extra one straight away — and you keep what the first one paid for. If we can't see the second charge, or the two charges were for different things (Priority Review on two different applications, say), a person compares your statement with our records — a screenshot of your statement helps.
A pending authorisation that disappears from your statement in a few days isn't a second charge; if it's still there after a week, send the request.
I don’t recognize a chargeLook for our name on the statement line. Send a change request and we’ll tell you what the charge was.
Card charges show on statements with OFFERROLE in the line — for example OFFERROLE PRIORITY, or SOURCEHIRE*OFFERROLE, depending on how the card was charged. Most unrecognised charges are a Priority Review purchase made by someone in the household, or with a work card.
Send a change request (/help/change-request, "I don't recognize this charge") with the receipt number if you have it and your e-mail. When the receipt and e-mail match, we show you exactly what the charge was for — the role, the amount and the date — and a person looks into it within two business days, refunding a charge that wasn't authorised.
If you believe your card was stolen, tell your bank too.
What a subscription is, what you agree to, and how to stop it in one click.
Is Priority Review a subscription or a one-time purchase? It’s a one-time purchase for 30 days of applications. Where a monthly plan is offered, checkout says so clearly.
Priority Review is sold as a one-time purchase: one charge covers the application you buy it on and every application you send in the next 30 days. It doesn't renew, so there's nothing to cancel.
Where Priority Review is offered as a monthly subscription instead, the checkout says so before you enter a card: the monthly price, the first charge, that it renews on the same date every month until you cancel, and how to cancel. It only starts if you tick a separate box agreeing to the recurring charge.
Not sure which you have? Your receipt says "One-time" or "Monthly subscription", and /applicant/subscription shows any subscription on your account.
What do I agree to when I start a subscription?A monthly charge on the same date until you cancel — agreed with its own tick, and e-mailed to you.
Before you enter a card, the checkout shows the subscription's terms: the monthly price, the first charge, that it renews on the same date every month until you cancel, how to cancel, and the date to cancel by to avoid the next charge.
The subscription starts only if you tick a separate box — unticked until you tick it — authorising the recurring charge. We keep that exact sentence, with the time and the IP address it was ticked from, on your subscription and your receipt.
You also tick the main agreement: the Subscriber Agreement (/legal/subscription-terms), the Priority Review Terms and the Refund & Cancellation Policy. We e-mail you the terms with your receipt, and your price is locked for as long as you stay subscribed.
How do I cancel my subscription? One click in your account — or with a cancel link we e-mail you if you can’t sign in.
There are three ways, and none needs a phone call:
In your account. Sign in, open Subscription (/applicant/subscription) — it is also on your dashboard — press Cancel subscription, then Yes, cancel my subscription. A reason is optional.
Without signing in. Go to /help/cancel-subscription and enter the e-mail you subscribed with. We send a one-click cancel link to the address on your subscription. It works once, for 72 hours, and needs no password. Opening the link changes nothing until you press the button.
With a change request. Choose "Cancel my subscription" at /help/change-request. When your receipt number and e-mail match, it is cancelled straight away; otherwise we e-mail you the one-click link.
Whichever way you cancel, we e-mail you a confirmation.
When can I cancel my subscription?Any time — including before your first charge. It takes one click.
You can cancel a Priority Review subscription at any time, including before your first charge has been processed. There is no waiting period and no minimum term.
Cancelling stops every future charge straight away and deletes the card we hold for the subscription in the same step. Priority Review keeps covering your new applications until the end of the month you already paid for, then ends.
If this month's charge was already authorised when you cancel, that one still completes — it is the last one, and the cancel screen tells you the amount. Payments already made are not refunded (the Refund & Cancellation Policy, /legal/refund-policy).
To avoid the next charge, cancel before the next charge date shown on your subscription page.
How do I cancel if I can’t sign in?Enter your e-mail at /help/cancel-subscription and we send a one-click cancel link. No password needed.
Go to /help/cancel-subscription and enter the e-mail you subscribed with. If there's a subscription on that address, we e-mail it a one-click cancel link.
The link works once, for 72 hours. It opens a page that shows your subscription; pressing Cancel my subscription cancels it. Opening the link changes nothing by itself.
For your privacy the page never says whether an address has a subscription. No e-mail after a few minutes? Check spam, or send a change request ("Cancel my subscription") and a person will cancel it for you.
What happens after I cancel? No more charges, the card is deleted, and Priority Review stays on until the end of the month you paid for.
Every future charge stops immediately, and the card we hold for the subscription is deleted in the same step — no renewal can be charged.
Priority Review keeps covering your new applications until the end of the month you already paid for, then ends. Applications you already sent keep their Priority Review.
If this month's charge was already authorised before you cancelled, it still completes and it's the last. Payments already made aren't refunded. You get a confirmation e-mail, and your subscription page shows the dates. To subscribe again, choose Priority Review on a future application.
I was charged after I cancelledSend a change request — a charge made after your cancellation is refunded automatically.
Send a change request (/help/change-request) and choose "I was charged after I cancelled my subscription". Give the receipt number of that charge and your e-mail.
If our records show the charge was made after your cancellation, it's refunded in full, automatically, and you're told straight away.
One charge can legitimately follow a cancellation: if the month's charge was already authorised when you cancelled, it completes and is the last — the cancel screen and e-mail tell you when this applies. A person checks any charge the records don't settle.
Can I cancel before my first charge?Yes. You can cancel at any time — the charge already authorised is the only one that still completes.
Yes. The Cancel button works from the moment you subscribe — there is no rule that you must be charged first.
When you subscribe with a card that our team charges by hand, the first month's charge is authorised at checkout and processed within one business day. If you cancel before it is processed, that authorised charge still completes and it is the last one; every later charge becomes impossible, because cancelling deletes the card we hold for the subscription. Priority Review then stays on until the end of that first month.
If you subscribed by mistake, cancel and send a change request (/help/change-request) with "I'd like a refund for another reason" — a person reads every one, though sales are final under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
My subscription says "Past due" — what does that mean?A renewal charge failed. You can cancel it any time, or ask us to help update the card.
"Past due" means the most recent renewal charge didn't go through — usually an expired card, insufficient funds, or a temporary block by your bank.
Your priority status isn't revoked the moment a charge fails, but Priority Review may stop covering new applications while the subscription is past due. We never add fees or interest to a failed payment.
You can cancel a past-due subscription the same way as an active one — one click on /applicant/subscription, or the cancel link from /help/cancel-subscription — and nothing more will be charged. To keep it instead, send a change request (/help/change-request) and a person will help you update the card.
How do I change the card on file?Cancel and subscribe again with the new card, or ask in a change request.
There isn't a self-service "change card" button yet. You have two options:
Cancel the subscription (one click on /applicant/subscription) and start a new one with the new card the next time you apply. The new subscription is at the price offered then.
Or send a change request (/help/change-request, "Something else") from the e-mail on your account, and a person will help — we never ask you to send card numbers by e-mail.
If a renewal fails because a card expired, the subscription shows "Past due". You can cancel it at any time, and nothing more will be charged.
What does "locked price" mean? The monthly price at signup is yours for life until you cancel.
When you sign up for Priority Review, the monthly price displayed on the form at that exact moment is written into your subscription record as your locked rate. We bill that rate every month, regardless of what the current platform-wide price is.
This is the same pattern Spotify, Netflix, and other subscription services use for grandfathered pricing. If we later raise the public price from $12 to $15 a month, you keep paying $12 as long as you don't cancel.
If you cancel and resubscribe later, you'll get the price current at the time of your resubscription — there's no way to "freeze" the old price across a cancellation.
Signing in, receipts, and where every purchase lives.
I can’t get into my accountReset with your resume, use the recovery questions, or ask a person in a change request.
Your account uses the e-mail you gave at checkout. To get back in:
1. Sign in at /applicant/login with that e-mail. 2. Forgot your password? Reset it at /applicant/forgot-password by uploading the same resume file you applied with. 3. No file? Answer the recovery questions at /applicant/forgot-password/quiz instead. 4. Still stuck, or can't get into that e-mail? Send a change request ("I can't get into my account") and a person will confirm it's you.
You never need to sign in to cancel a subscription: /help/cancel-subscription e-mails you a one-click cancel link.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?Reset it by uploading the resume you applied with, or answer a few questions about your applications.
Go to /applicant/forgot-password. Enter the e-mail on your account, upload the same resume file you applied with — the exact file is what proves it's you — and choose a new password (at least 8 characters). Every other session on your account is signed out.
Don't have that file any more? Use the recovery questions instead (/applicant/forgot-password/quiz): a few multiple-choice questions about your applications. Answer them all correctly and you can set a new password; a wrong answer locks the quiz for 48 hours.
Still stuck, or can't get into the e-mail you used? Send a change request ("I can't get into my account") and a person will confirm it's you. You don't need to sign in to cancel a subscription — see /help/cancel-subscription.
Where do I manage my purchases, receipts and subscription? All in your account: purchases, subscription, add-on orders and your applications.
Everything you've bought is in your Offerrole account, under the e-mail you used at checkout:
My purchases (/applicant/purchases) — every order and its receipt. Subscription (/applicant/subscription) — your plan, next charge, card, charge history, and the Cancel button. My orders (/applicant/orders) — add-ons such as resume reviews, and their delivery. My applications (/applicant/applications) — which applications have Priority Review.
Something wrong with any of it? Every receipt has a Request a change link, or start at /help/change-request.
Where do I find my receipt number? At the top of your receipt and in your confirmation e-mail. It starts with INV-.
Your receipt number is at the top of your receipt and in the confirmation e-mail we sent when you bought Priority Review. It starts with INV- (queue boosts start with QBST-, and charges by payment link or terminal with TRM-).
You can also sign in and open My purchases (/applicant/purchases): every order is listed with its number and receipt.
Can't find it? Send the change request anyway with the e-mail you used — a person will look it up.
Where can I see my invoices and receipts?Every purchase and its receipt are in your account; subscription charges are on your subscription page.
Sign in and open My purchases (/applicant/purchases): every order is listed with its receipt. Subscription charges are also on /applicant/subscription under Charge history, each with its own receipt.
A receipt shows the receipt number (INV-…), the date and time, what was bought, the amount, how it was paid, and the exact agreement you ticked at checkout. You can print it or save it as a PDF from the receipt page.
Your confirmation e-mail has a link to the receipt too, and a Request a change link if anything on it is wrong.
Do you e-mail receipts?Yes — a confirmation with your receipt when you buy, and every receipt stays in your account.
Yes. When you buy Priority Review we e-mail a confirmation with your receipt, what you bought, and — for a subscription — the terms you agreed to: the monthly price, when it renews, and how to cancel.
Every receipt is also in your account: My purchases (/applicant/purchases), and for a subscription, Charge history on /applicant/subscription.
Can't find the e-mail? Check your spam folder for a message from Offerrole, or sign in to see the receipt directly.
ACH, wire and e-check: we never pull money from your account.
I paid by bank transfer — how do corrections work?We never pull from your account. Overpayments and duplicates go back by bank transfer.
When you pay by ACH, wire or e-check, you send the money from your own bank; we never take money from your account.
If you paid twice, or paid more than the amount shown, send a change request (/help/change-request) and a person returns the difference by bank transfer to the account it came from. If your payment hasn't arrived by the date shown, Priority Review is paused until it does — nothing is charged.
We never send bank details by e-mail, and they never change by e-mail.
Your rights with your bank, and the faster way to fix a charge.
What if I think a charge is wrong?Send a change request — billing mistakes are usually fixed straight away. Your bank rights stay yours.
Send a change request (/help/change-request) with your receipt number. Our records are checked the moment you send it: a duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, and Priority Review that never turned on are refunded automatically. A person answers anything else — a different amount, a charge you don't recognise — within two business days.
You never have to ask us first: you can dispute a charge with your bank or card company at any time, and doing so doesn't affect your account. But while a dispute is open, the bank's process decides it — we answer the bank with our records and can't also refund the same charge. A change request is usually faster.
Didn't find it?
A change request reaches a person with your receipt attached. You'll hear back within two business days.
